The Perfect Heart

Every Monday and Friday, my niece, nephew, and I take a walk across the street and collect rocks. This past Friday it was just JD and I who went for the walk. Picking the perfect rock is a very serious job for JD. After a few minutes, JD picked out his rock. He then quickly picked up another rock and handed it to me and said, "This ones for you Aunt Dawnie". As I look down at my rock I saw it...the perfect heart. Ok, maybe its not the perfect shape per say...but to me its the perfect heart!

Relay For Life

Incase any does not know what Relay For Life is, it is an amazing cause. Relay For Life is a yearly benifit walk of the American Cancer Society. This year I will be walking with Team Dream. Our walk will take place June 14 and 15. We are hoping to raise $1000. Cancer is a problem that is much to common. Everyone is effected by cancer in some way. Happy St. Patty's Day

I hope you all had a great St. Patricks Day. =) ST. Patty's Day is one of my favorite holidays. It comes in a close second only to Halloween. When I got home from work today I was greeted with a fun little Irish arrangement of flowers. After dinner we were off to the Shannon Rose, the local Irish pub for some fun and drinks. = ) Hope everyone had a fun and safe day.
