Kathryn & Krysten

Just last weekend I met up with Kathryn and her sister Krysten to take some shots for their moms Christmas gift. This was my second time shooting Kathryn - last time we took some senior photos. Wow time has flown by! We met up on a freezing cold morning and walked around town finding fun little spots to shoot. We then ended our day at their grandmas farm. These ladies were so much fun!

And they said they couldn't do the DIVA pose?!?

Thanks for hanging out with me ladies, and being such troopers in the freezing cold! =)

Jenny - On the farm

My sister Jenny and I recently spent the day at the Howell Living History Farm. We walked around and took some fun shots. There was no real reason for our little shoot, other then that every girl should have fun pictures of themselves. We both had a great time and I think we got a bunch of great shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

Rachel & Matthew

Yesterday I was able to spend some time with Rachel and Matthew. Matt is currently stationed out in California with the Navy, but was home on leave. While being home, we decided to take some photos to show their love. We shot at an awesome old 4H camp. Though we had to fight the rain, I think we got a bunch of fun shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

This was taken at the end when the rain was coming down so hard. They were such great sports to lay in the gross grass. = )

Rachel is a true country girl... ; )

Thanks so much for letting me play in the rain with you guys!!!!

Memorial Day...

"The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave..."

To the men and women who served or are currently serving for this great country, I thank you. I have many friends who I am proud to say serve in all the branches of the military. They each hold a special piece in my heart.

I want to give a BIG than you to my cousin Michael. He just got back from deployment with 2/5 Marines as part of the 31st MEU.

Jen & Gerry: Sneak Peak

Jen and I grew up in the same small town. We went to the same grammar and middle school. After our 8th grade graduation we went to different high schools, and took different paths in life. But thanks to face book we were able to reconnect. = ) Jen contacted me about taking some shots of her and her sweet boyfriend Gerry. We met up at her old college http://www.cse.edu/, which is where they had their first date. It was a cold day, but such fun to meet up with an old friend.
